Patricia Strang Bishop

BISHOP, Patricia Strang, 78, of Chesterfield County, passed away on September 11, 2023, just ten days shy of her seventy-ninth birthday. She was preceded in death by her parents, William Alan Strang and Nina Ruth Neal as well as her brother, William Alan Strang, Jr. She is survived by her sister-in-law, Nancy Strang; nephew, David Strang; niece, Ashley Carneal (Brandon); great niece, Abigail; great nephew, Logan; and multiple cousins and close friends.

Pat was a proud graduate of Virginia Commonwealth University, where she earned her undergraduate and graduate degrees. She worked as a teacher, educational specialist, and administrator for Henrico and Chesterfield County Public Schools. In addition, she participated in several state and national activities with the Council for Exceptional Children.

She enjoyed traveling, sitting on the porch at the river watching the sunset, and rescuing animals. Spending time with the Flamingo Queens was another favorite pastime.
