Marsha P. McCollum of Prince George, VA passed away on May 2, 2025 at her home in the company of family. Marsha was a retired Staff Officer of the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) where she worked for more than 20 years. During her time with the USDA, Marsha received numerous awards and certificates for outstanding work performance. Upon accepting an early retirement, Marsha not only earned a certificate in Missionary work but also began work as a Foster Parent in Baltimore, MD.
Marsha was an avid reader, particularly in the area of spirituality. She would love to engage in philosophical discussions that went beyond, " Are you going to Heaven?" She wanted a person to really examine what they believed and why. She knew we are all part of the same universal energy and thought it important to recognize our Oneness in God's Love.
Moving to Virginia in 2010, Marsha met and married the love of her life, John P. McCollum. They enjoyed many hobbies together, including fishing, traveling to Myrtle Beach and adventures to various casinos. Although their years together were brief, they lived life to the fullest!
Marsha is preceded in death by her husband, John P. McCollum.
