OBITUARY
Marianne Maust Chenault
September 11, 1936 – March 15, 2023

Ms. Marianne Maust Chenault (Squeak), age 86 of Richmond Virginia peacefully went to be with the Lord Wednesday March 15th, 2023. Born September 11th 1936 in Richmond Virginia, she was a graduate of Thomas Jefferson High School (1954) and alumni of James Madison University (1956).
She will be remembered most as a beloved sister, mother, grandmother, great grandmother and the wonderful friend anyone could meet, Marianne never met a stranger. She was a kind soul, love spending time with family and friends. She found beauty in all things and truly saw life through the eyes of a child.
Proceeded in death by her parents William Strain Maust and Catherine Flake Maust, She is survived by and will be lovingly remembered by her brother William Maust, sister-in-law Carolyn Maust. Sons, Scott Daniel Clay, Christopher William Clay, William E Chenault III, Charles E Chenault and Michael A Chenault. Daughters, Leigh Ann Alvey and Brenda Lee Blanchard as well as 14 grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren, 3 nieces, 1 nephew, cousin Gary L Flake and countless members of Hopewell Baptist Church in New Kent Virginia.
We love you and will miss you Mom.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Hopewell Baptist Church, St Jude's and American Cancer society. A Celebration of life will be held Saturday May 6th, 12:00 p.m. at Hopewell Baptist Church in New Kent Virginia.
