OBITUARY
Christina Robinson Ball
April 26, 1946 – May 20, 2023

Christina R. Ball, 77, of Henrico, Virginia, died May 20, 2023 in her Sandston home after a long battle with cancer.
Mrs. Ball was born April 16, 1946 in Parkersburg WV to James and Dorothy (Rollins) Robinson.
She attended Norview High School in Norfolk, Virginia where she met Rodney L. Ball. Eventually they married and moved to Richmond, Virginia.
Her hobbies included making quilts for all the people in her life but mostly gifting the new babies in the family with a quilt she crafted with love. She loved to scuba dive. A passion she discovered in middle age and pursued ardently. She was also an avid NASCAR fan and was thrilled to meet her favorite driver Denny Hamlin several times. Following in her father’s footsteps she also loudly cheered on the Miami Dolphins every fall.
Mrs. Ball is survived by her husband Rodney: sister Barbara Tabor and her husband Clark; brother James Robinson and his wife Sherry; one son Lee Ball; two daughters Marthaellen and Christina, her husband Travis; her grandson Trae, his wife Jordan; her granddaughter Eryn and a new great grandbaby Olivia. She also leaves behind aunts, uncles, nephews and several cousins.
A celebration of her life will be held at 11am on the 3rd of June in the No Limits Upon God Church (formerly Elko Union Church), 6861 Elko Rd, Sandston , VA 23150.
In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the National Cancer Society.
