Susan was born in Duluth Minnesota. Susan was a well known lawyer in Washington, D.C.. Her undergraduate degree was from The University of Minnesota; she earned her Masters degree in Public Administration from The George Washington University in Washington, D.C., she earned her law degree from The Catholic University in Washington, D.C.. Her career included several years at the Dutch law firm Loyens & Volkmaars in Amsterdam in the Netherlands. There she wrote legal Public Administration publications that were published by The American Bar Association. She had no children. She is survived by her brother Dennis

Does anybody know the cause of death? Please help if you can.

Susan was a former colleague and a good friend for almost 20 years.  We stayed in touch and exchanged messages frequently.  She was very special to me and I will miss her greatly.  I’m thankful for that friendship and the good memories I have that we shared.

Salzberg, 1975.  Our one month trip to Europe.  Sue and I climbed up into lorries for rides, climbed the alps, and found vegetarian food (somehow).  She will always be missed and remembered.

I’m sorry to learn of Sue’s death. We grew up a few blocks from each other in the Piedmont Heights neighborhood in Duluth, MM.
We attended the same elementary, junior high & high school. She graduated a year ahead of me. Sue’s childhood home sits on the edge of a favorite play time location of Miller Creek. We played together often in her yard with a group of us kids.
