Norbert Francis Buchholz

Norbert F. Buchholz was born in St. Louis, Missouri on February 20, 1932, to Francis Buchholz and Floriana Schmitz Buchholz. He died Monday, May 22, 2023. He and his loving wife, Joan M. Buchholz met in Tacoma, Washington while he was serving in the Army. They married and raised a family of eight children In Seattle, Washington; St. Louis, Missouri; and Mclean, Virginia. He was a computer programmer working for aerospace companies and later the National Park Service in Washington, DC. He enjoyed hiking, biking, and playing volleyball. Norb and Joan loved to travel both in the US and abroad. They loved socializing in Dupont, Washington with a group named Forever Young. He loved spending time with his family talking and carrying on. Those left to remember his life include his brother Vernon; his wife of 67 plus years, Joan; their eight children, Tim married to Monica (Cervantes), Jim married to Raynetta (Gheen) , Mary, Mike, Judi married to Doug McCuistion, Mark, Andy married Hattie (Croyder) to and Ruth married to the late Joe Sprankle. He had 8 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.
