Dale A. Nusbaum, 73, passed away peacefully in his home surrounded by family he loves on November 30, 2024. He was born in Sterling, IL on December 9, 1950. He attended Maine Township High School South (1969)in Park Ridge, Illinois and Northern Illinois University (1973). He was a loyal partner at McLennan Company of Park Ridge, Illinois for 35 years. Most currently he worked for Cardinal Management (RealManage) at Loudon Valley II in Ashburn Virginia.
Dale was loved deeply by his family and treasured by all his friends. He was a loving hardworking, servant whether at work, at home, in church or his community. Generous, loyal, and humble Dale got the most pleasure in life serving his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ and the people he loved. Dale was quick to encourage, loved to have a good time, and without hesitation risk personal embarrassment to make his family laugh especially the grandkids he loved so dearly. Dale was a Grill Master, loved to go fishing especially with his grands, perfected the Art of Napping, and always had time to golf. He was especially proud of his hole in one at Kemper Lakes Golf Club, Long Grove, Illinois in 2016. Dale faithfully served at Willow Creek Community Church in South Barrington, Illinois leading the volunteer janitorial team every Saturday morning. Dale volunteered at Journey Church of Northern Virginia, hosting and leading a GarageTime Men’s Bible Study group the second Saturday of each month. Dale held the prestigious position of the Chicago Chapter IREM President in 1995 as well as served on their executive council.
Dale is survived by his wife Karol, daughter Emily Dale Rancourt (Jacques), son Tyler, grandchildren Dryden, Soleil, Mackenzie, Lily, Thaddaeus, Salsa, Luna Mei, brother Kendell, mother-in-law Edna Frindell, sisters-in-law Karen (Sal Rios) Albert, Kristen Frindell, brother-in-law David Betts, and many nieces and nephews. He was proceeded in death by his mother Theresa (Lamach), father Donald, father-in-law John Frindell, brother-in law Joseph Albert II, sister-in-law Kim Betts and granddaughter Addy Hope.
A Celebration of Life will be held at Journey Church 4173 Bludau Drive, Warrenton, VA 20187 on December 21, 2024 at 11am followed by food and fellowship.
