She leaves behind her beloved son, Dylan, who was the centre of her life. She will be sadly missed by her mother Anne, sister Judy, brother-in-law Paul and her many friends all over the world.
Catherine had a special aura which drew people to her. She exuded calm and peacefulness. She was non-judgemental and always managed to see the good in a person or situation, helped by her great sense of humour.
She managed a career in telecommunications among other specialities, and promoted women in science and engineering. After her first diagnosis she put her energy into helping others and became a registered yoga teacher, later offering classes to cancer survivors.
She had a great love of nature and embraced all things spiritual. She loved to travel and was always curious about the world and people around her, as shown by the amount of books she collected covering every subject imaginable. Catherine always gave generously of her time and wisdom. She loved learning, and was part way through her Pilates Teacher Training, showing her determination to keep embracing life and new opportunities.
She was thankful for her amazing life and excited and hopeful for her next adventure.
