Carol Lee Johnson

Carol Lee Johnson 67, born February 22,1958 was called to her eternal home April 9,2025, from liver cancer. She was the daughter of the late James and Jean Johnson of Berryville, Virginia. Carol was baptized on August 13, 2017, at True Deliverance Church of God. Carol was a shining light in the lives of all who had the privilege of knowing her. Her journey on the earth was marked by love, compassion and unwavering faith in God. This was shown in the way she strived to raise her grandchildren through love and kindness. Her passing has left a void in the hearts of family, friends and everyone whose lives she touched. Remember her for the profound impact that she made on those lives, not for the way that she left us.

Carol is survived by her three children: Shery Cruz, Lisa Miller (Daniel), and Lynnwood Everhart Jr. (Mary). One brother Tony Johnson (Grace), one sister Trisha Johnson (Donnie), two stepbrothers; Willian Everhart and Danny Everhart and one stepsister Shelly Burgess (Phil). Six grandchildren; Jacob Everhardt, Johannah, Jaime & Carlitos Cruz, Aniela Ramos-Domingo and Stephanie Miller and one great grandson Chase Miller.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sisters Teres Johnson-Simmons and Angel Johnson and a grandson Christian Cruz.

A celebration of life will be held at Zoar Baptist Church, 11036 Elk Run Road, Catlett Va 20119 on Saturday May 31, 2025 at 11:00am.
